Foreman High School Daily Announcements Good morning, Gators! Today’s date is: Tuesday January 14, 2025 Students: You are expected to bring Chromebooks fully charged every day. Failure to do so could have consequences. No students will be allowed in the competition gym this week. If you’re interested in being in the Miss Foreman Pageant, pick up an entry form in the Library. Pageant is March 1st. There will be an FFA Meeting in Mr. Stone’s room during GRIT today Judging sign-up sheets are posted on the outside of his classroom and FFA Dues are due by Jan 17th. They are $17 Jr High Quiz Bowl will be out Friday. Practice tomorrow during GRIT (1/15) with Mrs. M.Young. Million Words field trip Friday. Thursday (1/23) 7th-12th grade Softball Parent meeting @ 5:30 in the cafeteria. This meeting is mandatory and season expectations will be discussed. There will be a GroupMe sign up for all parents. If for some reason your parent is not able to attend please let Coach Carter or Coach Miller know. Due to the winter weather forecast, the Foreman School District will be closed Thursday and Friday. All practices and games are cancelled as well. Stay safe and stay warm! We will reconvene on Monday, January 13th. Thank you.

FHS & FJHS Parents: Exemption forms are being sent home today. Friendly reminder: Per our handbook policy, students 7-12 may earn an exemption for missing four or fewer days per semester. If a student misses 4 days they must have an A in the class, 3=B, 2=C. All absences, except school business, count. Doctors notes are a recorded absence. Students must take semester exams for Virtual Arkansas classes and any college courses. Even period classes will take semester exams Monday 12/16 and odd period classes will take semester exams Tuesday 12/17. Students are not allowed to check-out for any reason before the end of the class period. The bell schedule for semester exams: 1st and 2nd period 7:55-9:25 Restroom break 9:25-9:30 3rd and 4th period 9:30-11 Jr high lunch/sr high big gym or outside 11-11:37 Sr high lunch/jr high big gym or outside 11:37-12:14 5th and 6th period 12:14-1:44 Restroom break 1:44-1:49 7th and 8th period 1:49-3:19
