Lannden Shurtleff was the Farm Bureau Player of the Week for the Foreman Gators in their game against Gurdon. Lannden had an outstanding performance on the defensive line for the Gators. 🐊 🏈

Foreman High School Daily Announcements Good morning, Gators! Today’s date is: Tuesday November 5, 2024 Parent Meeting for Jr. and Sr. Basketball Girls 6pm tonight in the FHS Gym FHS has 5 slots available for an ACT boot camp. The first priority will be to Juniors who have taken the ACT already on their own and want to raise their score. Please let Ms. Young know if you are interested. Even if you haven't taken the ACT and are interested, please let her know. There may be extra slots. Booster Club will be purchasing letterman jackets for athletes. This will include a jacket with leather sleeves, and the F on the front with two inserts. Parents will be responsible for additional add-ons, patches, and taxes. SSR will be here in the cafeteria on Nov 12th @ 8:30 am to size and for payments. Band Booster will purchase jackets for the band as well, with a package of the Band Boosters choosing. Student Council will be hosting Powder Puff Football next week on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 5pm at the High School Football Field. Teams must have 7 to 9 players and at least one coach. Teams can consist of any girls in grade 7 through 12. Each player and coach must pay at least $5 to play. The team who raises the most money off entry fees will have the Bye game. Please sign your team up in Mrs. Smith’s room to play and turn in each players’ entry fee by Monday, November 11 to Mrs. Smith. You may sign up in advance, this week, and pay on Monday! OHE student council made over 400 “Boo Grams” this week to be delivered throughout our district today! This is over double the amount we made and delivered in previous years 🙌🏼 All of the money made from this and other fundraisers goes toward purchasing Christmas presents for a family in our community as well as other community service projects. Thank you for supporting our OHE student council!

Special Education Paraprofessionals Needed: 2 positions available General Summary: Special education paraprofessionals assist students with special needs under the direction of the Special Education Teacher. Paraprofessionals generally work in an inclusionary setting (i.e. least restrictive environment). The special education paraprofessional assists the teacher in general daily classroom activities, help special needs students, and cares for their physical, emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and striving to promote dignity in all relationships. FHS is hosting its annual Veterans Day Celebration. Forms for the slideshow have been sent home with students and are available in the office at both campuses. You can return the form or email the info to myoung@foremanschools.org

The Gator Cross Country team competed at its first District meet this Saturday. The Junior High Boys team came in 3rd place. Thank you to all the athletes that stepped up and helped complete the rosters along the way! It has been a fun first year full of learning. We hope to recruit more runners next year! "Tough runs don't last, tough runners do!"
